We are currently seeking a **Loader Operator** to join our team in our **Glen Christie** location.

As a Wheel Loader Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently and safely operating a wheel loader to load materials onto trucks, stockpiles, and hoppers. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials at our job sites and maintaining a high standard of safety and productivity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate a wheel loader in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all company and industry safety standards.
- Perform pre
- and post-operation inspections on the wheel loader, reporting any mechanical or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Load various materials onto trucks, stockpiles, and hoppers using the wheel loader, following proper loading procedures.
- Ensure accurate measurement and recording of loaded materials to maintain inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the wheel loader and surrounding grounds.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to equipment operation, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the wheel loader to keep it in good working condition.
- Assist in other material handling activities and tasks as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience operating a wheel loader loading tri-axles, trailers and pony pups trucks is required.
- Understanding of loading procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Ability to operate the wheel loader efficiently and safely, maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Possess a reliable vehicle to commute to the site.
- Ability to work outside all seasons, including winter.
- Strong knowledge of material handling practices, including loading and unloading techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception to maneuver the wheel loader accurately.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.11-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 60 per week
