Backhoe Operator

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Operate backhoes to dig trenches, holes, and foundations for construction projects.
- Perform horizontal drilling as needed for utility installations.
- Assist in grading operations to prepare surfaces for paving or building.
- Utilize loaders and bulldozers for material handling and site preparation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in backhoe operation or similar heavy equipment operation is required.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques is a plus.
- Commercial driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate graders, loaders, and bulldozers effectively.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation are advantageous.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
