Smitty's in Lawson Heights is a test kitchen for Smitty's Canada which helps develop, create proper procedures and plating of new items. Working with our head office team in perfecting recipes and labour sensitive creations.

Bugsy's is a great social environment that explores creative menu items, trending ingredients and the room to develop and grow in it's creations. We are looking for someone who can take the lead in the development of this menu and offer fresh, new ideas to bring to our guests.

This is a Culinary Management position with an overall responsibility of the kitchens operations including labour and food costs, team members and training, menu planning and development.

Responsibilities will include
- Co-ordinating cleaning in all kitchen departments
- Adhering to Smitty's/Bugsy's specs and procedures
- Maintaining organization in a fast paced environment
- Have full working knowledge of products and suppliers in operating the business
- Accuracy to details
- Budget and achieve labour and food cost goals
- Supervising staff levels (interview, hire and train supporting staff)
- Lead in development and mentorship of team members
- Work closely and communicate with FOH management team
- Bugsy's menu creations and inspirations
- Assist with menu planning and execution
- Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory role
- Up to date on Food safety, and Serve it Right Saskatchewan
- Ability to exercise good judgement and show initiative and excitement

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
