Alina's Exclusives Inc is looking for a warehouse worker to join our team. The warehouse worker will perform a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing and shipping of materials. This position will also perform routine maintenance and inspection of the receiving, receiving area, storage, and shipping areas. The warehouse worker will also assist in the maintenance of the warehouse facility.
**Essential Duties**:
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Receive, stock and maintain materials and supplies
- Inspect, inspect, label, store or ship goods
- Maintain accurate records of received goods and information
- Operate hand truck to move large items (e.g. pallets)
- Maintain safe working environment by keeping warehouse, equipment, and tools clean; by complying with safety regulations; by following instructions given for hygiene and security procedures
- Communicate with supervisors about performance or maintenance problems, requests or problems
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, adjusting, changing blades, re-stocking, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
**Experience**:Required Experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Shipping experience preferred (preferably with shipping software)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50-$18.44 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
**Education**:
- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
