POSITION: Mobility Van/Bus Driver, St Marys & Area Mobility Service
Casual, Permanent

:
St. Marys & Area Mobility Service is a not-for-profit, community accessible transportation provider. Mobility van/bus drivers provide transportation to clients, using agency owned accessible vehicles. This position can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend and crouch to assist clients to load/unload, and to operate accessibility functions on board the vehicles.

REPORTS TO: Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
**Education**:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
**Experience**:

- Customer service experience or experience working with older adults, seniors and persons with disabilities
- Previous driving experience an asset

Abilities:

- Valid G or F driver’s license or equivalent (support may be available for those wishing to attain F Class license)
- Good driving record and clean drivers abstract
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification, or ability to complete
- Ability to work according to designated shifts and split shifts (weekdays and some evenings) with varied hours
- Capable of performing passenger boarding and de-boarding procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE while operating a mobility vehicle (i.e. mask, eye protection when needed, etc)

SALARY: Starting at $18.72/hr

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $18.72 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

As part of our commitment to a healthy and safe environment for our clients, caregivers, and staff, St Marys Mobility requires that all new staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. All staff and riders are required to wear a face mask while on board.

**Experience**:

- Driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class F Licence (preferred)
- Class G Licence (preferred)
