IT & Audio Visual Installer

The IT & Audio Visual Installer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced audio visual systems, IT networks, and low voltage security systems. This role involves hands-on work with industry-leading technologies such as Crestron control systems, Cisco networking equipment, and FortiNet security solutions. You will work on projects spanning residential to large-scale commercial installations, ensuring all systems operate safely and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation & Configuration**:

- Install, configure, and commission Crestron control systems, Cisco networking hardware, FortiNet security appliances, and other related technologies.
- Set up and integrate low voltage systems, including security cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
- Manage cabling, wiring, and network infrastructure to support audio visual and IT requirements.
- **Troubleshooting & Maintenance**:

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in both IT and AV systems.
- Perform routine system checks, preventive maintenance, and software updates.
- Work with support teams to ensure timely resolution of any client issues.
- **Project Management & Collaboration**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and system schematics.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align on installation requirements and timelines.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all installation and service activities.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Follow industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols during installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulatory requirements in Calgary.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT or AV installations is required.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Exposure to or familiarity with systems such as Crestron, Cisco, FortiNet, low voltage installations, and security systems is a plus.
- Basic ability to read technical drawings and installation manuals.
- **Training & Development**:

- On-the-job and classroom training is offered, with opportunities to further develop skills in advanced technology systems.

- Excellent communication and a collaborative approach.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
