**Public Relations & Collaborations Manager**

**Job Summary**:
As our Public Relations & Collaborations Manager you will nurture a strong industry network, increase awareness and build on a strong brand image by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs. You will facilitate Dynamite’s collaborations and relationships with external brands and influencers.

You will help to create and promote the Dynamite brand identity and mission to customers, and the public through digital and traditional materials. You will be communicating our new trendy styles to help build our brand awareness and generate excitement for the brand. You will be responsible for a number of Dynamite collaborations where you develop each brand concept to be unique and socially engaging, whilst maximizing commercial opportunities and reaching agreed sales targets.

As PR & Collaborations Manager, you have extensive experience developing public relations strategies, creating integrated communication plans, directing local and global initiatives, as well as building and mentoring teams. You are a thought leader with proven decision-making skills in strategy, crisis management and leadership & development.

You will be involved in our ongoing transformation from a traditional brick & mortar retailer, to an omni-channel leader and tech-first fashion disruptor.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a marketing communications plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics;
- Develop media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media;
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media;
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis;
- Ensure that all materials present a clear, unified, and positive image for the organization and/or brands;
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them;
- Educate influencers, managers, agencies about our brand
- Manage Influencer & Designer Collaboration partnerships that increase exposure and accelerate growth worldwide
- Manage external partner and brand ambassador strategy and relationships focused on meeting partnership timelines & KPI

**Qualifications**:

- BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline;
- Over 8 years of experience in Public Relations;
- Experience in acting as a company spokesperson; comfortable and skilled in multi media interviews;
- Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both a local and national level;
- Has impeccable taste in fashion, has a deep knowledge in influencer trends and behaviors;
- Has an ability to motivate and inspire a team and a track record for globally-minded, culturally-relevant programming that gains media attention and consumer engagement;
- Exceptional writing and editing skills as well as compelling pitch writing abilities;
- Exceptional experience leveraging social media to build on public relations;
- In-depth knowledge of social media marketing industry;
- Experience working with agencies;
- Canadian experience is a must. Retail and/or US experience is a plus;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Credible and convincing communicator;
- Good negotiator, able to identify opportunities and make the most of them.
