Tillsonburg Custom Foods has an immediate opening available for a Production Manager position at Ingersoll plant.

**Hours**: 7:00am to 4:30pm

**Location**: 50 Chisholm Drive, Ingersoll, ON.

**Overview**:
The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring the production team is actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule..

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing the employee workforce in the department and manage scheduling for maximum workforce efficiency
- Evaluating, adjusting, and creating new policies and procedures as needed for effective operations
- Acting as a liaison between management and workers
- Work with other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met;
- Leadership abilities to mentor and coach employees and boost morale
- Leading employee training to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements;
- Sustain 4S and 5S activities;
- Participate as an active member of the production team;
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate production functions;
- Complete required documentation related to production and business requirements;
- Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work;
- Identify and support continuous improvement effort with other team leads
- Additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications / Characteristics**:

- Proven experience in Production management within Food Manufacturing/Packaging industry
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business management or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- Strong leadership & management skills
- Excellent Problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
