Are you seeking a new career opportunity as a contractor in a dynamic private practice? We are looking for counsellors with experience working with seniors, trauma, adult mental health, and marriage and family therapy to join our team. We provide ongoing clinical supervision, a strong team atmosphere, a warm welcoming office setting, and the option to see clients in nature.

**What will your typical day look like?**

As a Counsellor/Therapist, you will:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counselling/psychotherapy services to clients, addressing a variety of concerns.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health counselling.

**Who should apply?**

The ideal counselor/therapist has the following qualifications:

- BA, BSW, MSW, MACP, or equivalent.
- Must be registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in counselling or psychotherapy. Experience working within a non profit setting an asset.
- Strong knowledge of anti-oppression and feminist perspectives and theories.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- experience working with seniors, trauma, adult mental health, and marriage and family therapy.

**How to apply**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $96.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 15 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Bay, ON P1A 2B4
