Front Desk Agent/night Auditor

We are looking for a dynamic IHG Hotel Front Desk Agent as a Night Auditor to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent/Night Audit responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations, and providing information about rooms, rates, and amenities. Night Audit duties also include closing and making the report for 'end of day', shuttle run if needed to be and will be the main person to monitor hotel premise at night.
If you have a knack for customer service and have work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
We are looking for a flexible person; Schedule will be on AM,PM or Overnight Shifts
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
- Manage online and phone reservations
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
- Maintains customers' privacy
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
- Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Performs Night Audit duties, files reports and sends them to accounting
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
- Knows daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel. Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the Front Office Manager or General Manager
- Manages and resolves all guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Do shuttle service run if needed be
**Skills**:
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred
- Experience with the hotel reservation software Opera is a plus
- Experience with Concerto a plus
- Experience with Gmail and other Office software
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit card and cash handling policies and procedures. Able to properly secure guest information.
- Proper telephone etiquette
- Engaging and Professional Customer Service Attitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills toward the public, hotel staff and management

Pay: $15.50-$16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
