North American Protection Services is seeking Full-Time Traffic Control Guards for the GTA. The successful applicant may be required to work at a wide variety of sites,

including but not limited to: construction sites, commercial properties, retail properties, condominiums, etc. Traffic Control and Security experience would be and asset.

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: Traffic Control Guards are required to monitor and organize the movement of vehicles entering and leaving Client property. Depending on the site this may require, but is not limited to sitting, standing, walking, sweeping and shoveling.

WORK SITE ENVIRONMENT: Outdoors

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Protect the safety of persons and their belongings on the property.
- Set up traffic cones and designated areas as per traffic control plan.
- Communicate with drivers/operators to ensure organized entry and exit of the

site.
- Ensure that the movement of vehicles entering and exiting Client property does

not interfere with the safety of pedestrians and the public.
- Prohibit entry into secure areas of the property of anyone other than authorized

persons as determined by the Client.
- Assist and support police and fire dept. as per policy.
- Respond to and provide leadership in emergency situations (e.g. medical

emergencies, fire, evacuation, flood, etc.) and support other life safety duties

as required.
- Maintain log of security incidents and report occurrences.
- Other duties as required / requested.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST:

- Possess a valid Ontario Security Guard license.
- Possess a valid Traffic Control license.
- Be available to work all Day Shifts starting at 6am.
- Have a working cell phone with text and data capabilities. - Be able to read, write and speak English.
- Be neat and presentable.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Be dependable, responsible, organized and punctual.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Contract, Full-time

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
