MHIRJ is looking for a Buyer (MLA) who is curious, likes to take on challenges and solve problems to improve people's lives. You will collaborate with a flexible, dynamic, and close-knit team. **As part of your position, you will be called upon to**: **Supplier Performance** - Manage the placement of purchase orders and the administration of related activities (receipt, notifications, invoices, inventory, zero stock...). - Analyze late deliveries and prioritize customer orders as well as "zero stock" to minimize customer impact. - Measure performance gaps against each supplier's delivery schedules and propose / implement corrective measures. - Manage non-quality parts (Repair, Returns...) - Participate in the development and ad hoc analysis of key performance indicators (scorecard) **Supplier Engagement** - Conduct weekly reviews of critical parts with suppliers. - Work with the supplier to obtain corrective measures (recovery plan) - Analyze and correct billing issues. - Collaborate with the Quality Assurance group to correct notifications at Reception. **Relations with suppliers (Supplier Relationship)** - Establish solid relationships with its suppliers by maximizing opportunities for interaction to optimize communication (conference call, regular visit for local suppliers and occasional for other suppliers) - Participate in the development of supplier reviews. **Qualifications** - You have a bachelor’s degree in administration or management in GOP, Logistics or Industrial Engineering or college diploma with good experience. - You have between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience. - You have good priority management and multitasking skills. - You have relevant experience in managing complex suppliers in the manufacturing world and with the new complexity of the supply chain. - You master Microsoft Office software but more particularly Excel and Power Point - You have experience working with SAP. - You are APICS certified or have work experience related to logistics (Asset) - You are bilingual (French and English), spoken and written. - Located in Mirabel, Quebec - Possibility of teleworking
