**MANA is seeking a Summer General Labourer to join our growing team.**

**Job purpose**
- This position will carry out various facility maintenance tasks including landscaping and facility maintenance.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Carry out various facility maintenance tasks including landscaping and facility maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain outside grounds (cuts grass, spray and remove weeds, sweep and clean gutters.
- Prepare, paint and decorate interior and exterior surfaces, as required.
- Operate grass cutting equipment, hand tools and power tools, as required.
- Maintain plant work area (clean up storage area, shelving units, furnace basements etc.
- Identify and report hazardous site conditions.
- May require physical activity for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.
- Required to lift or carry objects that could weigh up to 50 pounds.
- Other duties may be assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Current Post Secondary Student or Recent High school Graduate returning to school in the fall.
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

**Duration**
- Approximately 4 month contract
- Ideal May 1st start
- Day Shift
- Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
