**We are currently hiring a Concrete Labourer
- This is a Union Position**

**Requirements**:

- 2 years concrete construction experience
- Experience on various concrete mix types and uses
- Must be familiar with tools for trade
- In depth knowledge of standard prep work practices
- Strong work ethic - reliable and punctual
- Must adhere to our safe work practices and procedures
- Heavy lifting ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work long hours
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
- Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to be a visible team-player and have excellent interpersonal skill

**Responsibilities**:

- Builds, erects and set forms for various concrete structures and foundations
- Shovel concrete into forms and/or wall panels
- Prep for various types of pours including but not limited to sidewalks, curbs, stairs, walkways, loading docks, accessibility ramps, patios and driveways
- Assists with site prep work as necessary
- Performs duties of cutting and placing reinforcing wire mesh, preparing appropriate sand and cement mixtures and placing, pouring and rough levelling of concrete.
- Smooth and finish concrete by floating, troweling, edging and brushing in accordance with specifications.
- Builds and/or takes apart bracing, barricades, forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures
