Are you up for the challenge?
**Some of the cool stuff you’ll be doing**:
- Working closely with client studios and art directors to visualize new art styles and create concept art
- Matching existing styles and creating consistent game-ready art assets
- Communicating design intent through diagrams and wireframes
- Reviewing quality of assets from internal and outsourced art teams and providing feedback
- Building a solid relationship with your game development peers in-house and around the world
- Supporting your team mates to accomplish goals
**What you’ll bring to the table**:
- 2+ years professional experience as a 2D artist
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, perspective, composition, and color theory
- Understanding of 2D art pipelines
- Ability to work in, and switch between multiple art styles
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Open-minded and team-oriented
- Curious and always learning
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Portfolio of applicable work
- Post-secondary diploma in illustration, graphic design, animation, or equivalent experience
- Bonus Points_
- Animation experience
- Creating textures for 3D models
- Experience integrating assets directly into game engines (Unity/Unreal etc.)
- Experience leading teams of artists
- Shipped game(s)
- Experience working directly with external clients
