- Managing hardware and software upgrades across the core voice network components
- Must have experience managing hardware and software upgrades across the core voice network components
- Should have previous experience managing hardware and software upgrades for Local Number Portability for landline and wireless
- Should have experience working with external hardware and software vendors for the voice network (i.e. Ribbon, Juniper, iConectiv)
- Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments
- Monitors, evaluates, and reports on program performance through the use of team meetings, project meetings, status reports and time reporting
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure Project Management (PM) standards, processes, principles and strategies are carried out for all projects and completes audits of projects to ensure compliance
- Accountable to executive sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements.
- Leads high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development
- Reviews/approves project plans for conformance to program strategy and program plan and schedule
- Acts as the communications channel to executive sponsors and program steering committee and conducts periodic briefings/status updates
- Escalates decisions to executive sponsors as necessary Defines and builds the appropriate reporting & Project Management Organization (PMO) structures to support project requirements plus linkage to the overall business project
- Communicates effectively to team members on project status
- Works with the various project teams to identify opportunities for acceleration of work within the respective streams as well as optimization of resources

- Should have extensive experience in decommissioning of legacy switching equipment
- Must be **Fluently bilingual** (business language spoken and written) in French and English
- Must have PMP designation
- Should have P. Eng
