Oakville, Canada Electrans Technologies Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform harness wiring and building tasks according to engineering specifications and project requirements.
- Participate in the mechanical assembly and installation of robotic systems, ensuring components are integrated flawlessly.
- Conduct thorough testing of robotic systems, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports on testing outcomes.
- Fabricate and build connectors for efficient integration of various robotic components.
- Assist in hands-on work involving test fixtures, robotic units, trailers, tractors, and any required reworks.
- Contribute to the construction of shop builds, such as shelves, tables, and other equipment necessary for efficient operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage shop tools and parts
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
- Oppertunity to travel to perform installations in the USA

**Qualifications**:

- Technician Diploma or Equivalent; relevant technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience in harness wiring, wire crimping, and mechanical builds, preferably within a robotics or automation setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic principles, including the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment, measurement tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Familiarity with robotic systems, their components, and their operational requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating within a team and providing clear testing reports.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Prior experience with shop builds (e.g., carpentry, metalworking) is a plus.
- Physical dexterity and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces.

**Benefits**:

**Salary**: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
