Welding Robot Operator

Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and painting. **Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
- Perform set ups of robotic and manual welding fixtures.
- Run welding robot (Motoman, Kuka) program.
- Perform welding duties in accordance with work orders and inspection sheets.
- Inspect parts welded by the robot,
- Clean parts as instructed (grinding, scraping, etc.)
- Perform basic manual welding if required.
- Troubleshoot minor robotic faults as required.
- Report all safety and production concerns to robotic technician, lead hand or manager immediately.
- Do measurements and assure parts meet quality specifications as determined by work orders and prints.
- Complete all required paperwork regarding production and downtime documentation.
- Perform quality work in a timely fashion.
- Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs
**Education and Experience**
- Welding Certificate or Diploma
- Valid CWB welding ticket Flat position
- 1+ years of welding experience
**Key Competencies**
- Able to do GMAW welding
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications, use welding gages
- Work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
- Work overtime and shifts as required
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs
- Good interpersonal skills; customer focused and a team player
- Written and oral communication in English.
