**The Role**

Reporting to the Credit Manager, the Credit Specialist will effectively manage A/R for all assigned accounts. In addition, this individual will assist customers, CSR’s and sales with any issues or requests. This is a full-time position

**What you will be doing**
- Prompt and constant follow up with customers to ensure timely collection of outstanding accounts
- Provide information and customer service for customer inquiries
- Investigate overages, shortages, and all outstanding invoices
- Reconcile accounts and pull back up documentation as required
- Recommend 3rd party collection as required and follow up with collection agency
- Liaise with accounting, sales and service personnel as required
- Refunds - Invoicing - Flexiti & Ledger Adjustments
- Responsible for A/R - Customer Service - inquiries for all consumer accounts

**To be successful in this role you must**
- A minimum of 2 years credit/collection experience
- Contract review and construction lien experience would be an asset
- Ability to maintain confidences.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Strong sense of urgency and accuracy.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
- Previous billing experience.
