SGH LOGISTICS, a rapidly growing logistics company is currently in search of a Associate Carrier Representative to join our team. As a third-party logistics company, our ongoing challenge is establishing new customers while servicing our established ones.

Qualities required: loyalty, honesty, dependability and great sense of humor.

**Must have skills and traits we are looking for**:

- Be computer literate and able to learn quickly
- Be detail oriented and able to prioritize
- Be a good listener and be good at multitasking
- Efficient on the phones
- Fluent in English (written & verbal)
- Be a team player that is energetic, honest and has a good sense of humour
- Able to work under pressure
- Negotiation skills is a definite plus
- Full on-boarding with complete training will be provided

**Daily tasks as an Associate Logistics Specialist (in no order)**:

- Quoting / Pricing (Calling our pool of carriers and obtaining rates for our customers)
- Managing our current accounts
- Contacting existing accounts for freight / business
- Booking freight with our sub-contractors

**Required skills & experience**:

- Customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines under stress
- Ability to multitask efficiently

**Compensation**:
Guaranteed base salary (based on experience) + bonuses

Our office is in the industrial area of Saint Laurent / Dorval (H9P 1K3).
