We are the largest company in Atlantic Canada dedicated exclusively to material handling equipment; we have been providing our customers with high quality equipment, rentals, parts and service since 1993. With branches located in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, we are looking for a **Dock and Door Technician **in **Dartmouth **to join our growing Nova Scotia Team.

**Reporting to the Service Supervisor you will be responsible for**:

- Dock and Door installation, maintenance, and inspection
- Perform repairs in addition to installation and maintenance dock and door parts
- Service will include mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs as per the equipment
- Diagnosing electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs
- Analyze and diagnose dock levelers, vehicle restraints Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections on warehouse facilities
- Install dock equipment including shelters, seals, lights, bollards, vehicle restraints, levelers, high speed doors, and overhead doors

**Skill Requirements**:

- **Must have** 2-5 years dock and door experience.
- **Must have** strong welding skills
- Good analytical skills to diagnose mechanical problems with mínimal supervision
- Good mechanical aptitude with an ability to service a diverse range of equipment
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with co-workers and managers; positive attitude, and good work ethic
- Provide current and suitable Driver’s Abstract.
- Provide current and suitable Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift to 70 lbs.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs at one time
- Ability to complete paperwork for multiple jobs accurately and time
