Pancake Chef and Barista

**Overview**:
Do you have the hands-on skills and finesse to make and flip FLUFFY pancakes like a pro? Bring your culinary expertise and your love for desserts to create stacks of pancake goodness

**Specific Duties**:

- Following verbal and written instructions accurately, while utilizing stand mixers, hot griddles and other kitchen equipment to make and serve our famous pancakes
- Operate espresso machines, blenders and other equipment to prepare and serve quality beverages ranging from hot to cold, such as frappes, coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment
- Assist in food preparation and serving when needed
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

**Experience**:

- Prior experience as a barista, or experience working in a restaurant, dessert shop or coffee shop is a BONUS
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with diverse clientele
- Works well under pressure

Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
