**Position Overview**

This job is for people who are motivated by money and ready to work. It’s physically demanding. You’ll spend time in a hot, humid steam room, manage a wood-burning stove, clean bathrooms, sweep paths, maintain the pool, and assist guests. You’ll be lifting, sweating, working in the rain or snow, and staying focused throughout.

The working conditions are far from perfect: a small staff room, constant exposure to outdoor elements, and a steady pace of manual work. But in return, you’ll earn real cash—fast.

**The Payment**

For successful applicants, we guarantee $40/hour, including tips. Here’s how it breaks down:

- The base rate is $25/hour, plus your share of tips
- If tips are low, we top up your pay to $40/hour, so for a standard 3-hour shift, you are guaranteed at least $120
- If tips are higher (for example, $80 from a couple’s session), your total is:
$25 x 3h = $75, plus $80 tips = $155 total (approximately $50/hour)
- If two attendants are assigned to the same shift, tips are shared
- Spa preparation duties before the first session are paid a $50 flat rate

You may be offered 1 to 3 shifts per day, depending on your physical stamina and our booking volume. Each shift is 3 hours. If you complete 3 shifts plus spa prep, your earns at least $410, with potential to 500 per day.

However, don’t expect to work 20 days a month. Steam room work is physically demanding, and it’s not sustainable full-time. A realistic workload is around 6-8 working days per month, with 1 or 2 shifts per day if you’re strong and we’re busy.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Site Preparation**
- Prepare the spa facilities by ensuring all supplies and equipment are ready.
- Start and maintain the wood-burning stove; preheat the steam room to the required temperature.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, wet areas, and grooming rooms.

**2. Steam Room Operations**
- Assist the Sauna Master during steam room treatments (basic procedures include fan waving, aromatherapy, warm peeling, and hot compresses).
- Guide guests to changing areas and assign lockers.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of guests during their sessions.

**3. After-Sauna Massage Tasks**
- Prepare massage tables, oils, and towels.
- Perform massages after sauna sessions, based on your training and expertise.
- Optionally offer additional wellness services that align with your skills.

**During Idle Time (Between Sessions)**
- Clean outdoor paths
- Trim grass around the spa
- Mop bathroom floors
- Check pool water quality
- Vacuum pool bottom
- Prepare the sauna room, keep the fire, assist to the guests

**Qualifications**
- **Minimum 5 years of experience** in client-facing roles such as hospitality, wellness, spa services, healthcare, or similar fields
- Physically fit and able to work in **hot, humid, wet, and outdoor environments** for extended periods
- **Mature, reliable, and punctual** — this position requires a high level of independence and personal responsibility
- Comfortable with **manual tasks**, fast-paced setups, and a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage guests with **professionalism, empathy, and discretion**:

- Experience in **spa, wellness, massage, or hospitality** is a strong asset
- Training in **massage, sauna therapy, or body treatments** is welcome but not mandatory
- Must not be available at all times, but should have a **predictable schedule** (e.g., weekdays 9 am-3 pm, weekends only, or evenings). Availability must be consistent and clearly defined.
