Job Summary

**AVS Hospitality**, a professional property management company, is seeking a dedicated and skilled **Landscape Technician** to maintain and enhance the outdoor spaces of one of our managed residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, operates with independence and reliability, and can perform seasonal and recurring property maintenance tasks to a high standard.

You will play a key role in ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and visually appealing for residents.

Key Responsibilities

**Seasonal & Storm-Related Yard Maintenance**
- Rake and bag yard debris following winter thaw and after major windstorms
- Cut grass on a monthly basis (bagging required)
- Regular removal of pet waste from the backyard

**Property Clean-Up & Drainage Maintenance**
- Remove leaves and debris from the drainage area near the basement entrance
- Ensure water flow is unobstructed in drainage zones
- Clean eavestroughs (gutters) and clean up all resulting debris

**Deck & Outdoor Living Area Maintenance**
- Sweep and maintain the back deck
- Clean glass panels on the deck
- Clean the BBQ thoroughly ahead of summer use

**Light Landscaping Support (As Needed)**
- Assist with planting, mulching, or light garden bed maintenance
- Water lawns and plants as required
- Support the installation or upkeep of landscape features such as edging, flower beds, or pathways

Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with outdoor maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping
- Proficiency with lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and other outdoor tools
- Ability to work safely on ladders (for gutter cleaning)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in a variety of weather conditions
- Access to a vehicle is preferred for transportation to and from the site
- Access to personal equipment, including a lawnmower, is an asset

Schedule & Time Commitment
- Estimated 4-8 hours per month, with flexibility based on seasonal needs and weather
- Flexible working hours with core tasks scheduled and storm-related work as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.87-$20.00 per hour
