**Taylor View Towers is large, modern, and attractive and geared to residents’ comfort and enjoyment. Our community is in the north-central part of the city of Red Deer. Southview Tower has 5 floors & Northview Tower has 6 floors of community living.**

Our mission is to provide an enriching resident living experience in Central Alberta, by delivering compassionate care, and fostering meaningful connections.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator develops, establishes, and maintains marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives. The Community Engagement Coordinator oversees Employee Care Partner Engagement strategies and ensures quality service offering for Taylor View Tower Residents

**Key Responsibility Areas (% Range of Focus)**:
**Sales & Marketing (40% - 50%)**
- Calls/Visits with prospective residents/families and provides tours of the community.
- Informs prospective residents/families and referral sources about community services and provides appropriate company information.
- Demonstrates a strong knowledge of sales strategy and implementation without supervision.
- Arranges and conducts tours and visits with prospective residents and their families, and creates unique, and personal follow up.
- Converts prospects into move-ins.
- Maintains current knowledge of key competitor pricing, strengths, and weaknesses.
- Attains and/or maintains the targeted occupancy level.
- Makes an active contribution towards improving Community relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness.
- Attends service time as scheduled and as needed for special events outside of service times.

**Employee Care Partner Engagement (30% - 40%)**
- Oversees Employee Care Partner engagement which includes appreciation, recognition, and event planning.
- Acts as a team builder, coach, mentor, active listener, facilitator, and an important resource to our Community.
- Strives to attain excellence in Care Partner satisfaction through ongoing solicitation, surveys, and measurement of feedback. Implementation of Care Partner suggestions, interactive problem solving, and an annual evaluation.

**Resident Services (20% - 30%)**
- Aligns decisions, conversations, and actions with the Residents’ preferences and needs.
- Makes improvements in the overall coordination of the Community’s services.
- Assures the provision of high-quality services needed and/or desired by Residents.

**Administration (10% - 15%)**
- Assists with system data entry and tracking for prospects and prepares relevant reports
- Increases and maintains community census.
- Conducts assessment of prospective residents and shares information as required for move-in options.
- Facilitates and assists with the completion of the resident move-in process and completes all necessary paperwork.
- Communicates sales discovery with the management team as required.
- Stocks and maintains appropriate, relevant, and meaningful creative follow-up items.
- Participates in ongoing educational programs and meetings to update knowledge on applicable topics.

**Health and Safety (5% - 10%)**
- Follows and enforces the Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, and Health & Safety Wellness Strategies.
- Identifies health, safety, or maintenance issues, and reports as required.

**Projects and Assignments**:

- Performs a variety of other projects and assignments as required

**Qualifications**:
**Education**
- Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Management is preferred.

**Experience**
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing is required.
- Experience in providing services in a senior living community is preferred.
