**SUMMARY**:
Responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms according to the company's standards, including the daily changing of bed linens, replacing towels, cleaning the bathroom, dusting, vacuuming carpets, Cleaning Balconies and the removal of garbage and recyclables.
Ensure all corridors, housekeeping closets and public areas are cleaned to company standard.
Complete daily assignment sheets and document any deficiencies in the guest rooms. Follow health & Safety rules throughout your shift.

**TASKS**:
**PLEASE,**
- Obtain a housekeeping cart at the beginning of shift and store it in the appropriate place at the end. Do not block corridors or rooms with your cart and do not speak or sing loudly in your work area. Do not over stock your cart. No messy cart with over load hanging bags; it is simply reflection of your work.
- Follow all safety and security procedures and regulations while performing daily duties
- Strip and make all beds, (The number of rooms to clean will vary depending on occupancy, Long-term guests and number of checkouts).
- Vacuum guest rooms floor, behind the entrance doors, inside the closets and under the beds, they should be clean on daily basis.
- Clean scratches and finger prints on walls, doors and windows.
- Dust shelves, artwork in rooms, wipe windows, behind the curtains and cobweb,
- Clean entire bathroom, including the bathtub, sink, walls, mirror, shelves inside and out, floors, Polish towel rack, door knobs and baseboards.
- Dust and clean kitchen counter, cabinets and all appliances in and outside and on the top of the fridge.
- **It’s better to do the dusting after vacuuming the room.**:

- Clean and empty all the trash cans.
- Stay over or Check out must be vacuumed, Dusted and mopped behind the entrance door as well on a daily basis.
- Check for Iron, ironing board, Hangers and stock with appropriate supplies/ Amenities
- Clean balcony and arrange chairs and the tables
- Use proper chemicals to clean rooms and common areas
- Follow daily checklist and make sure every item is covered
- Maintain uniform and grooming standards (especially foot wear) in accordance with standards and procedures of the Waterside Inn.
- Cater to guest requests.
- Report guest issues to the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor
- Perform all duties assigned and follow the instructions by the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor
- Perform “house person” duties when assigned.
- Additional duties as assigned by the management
