Faithfull Tirecraft is a locally owned automotive repair and tire service dealer in Saskatoon. Being part of the Tirecraft network means we are connected to over 220 dealers across Canada.

We are seeking a full-time General Service (GS) Technician that is an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team. As a General Service Technician, you will support the Automotive Service Technicians to complete services, being a courtesy driver, and helping out wherever needed in the shop on a daily basis. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service experiences for our customers throughout the entire process. You must enjoy working with people and building relationships with customers. This position will be 8 a.m to 5 p.m Monday to Friday. The wage offered will be an hourly rate, which will be calculated based off experience and qualifications.

**Our General Service Technicians are primarily responsible for**:

- Performing general automotive maintenance and repair services across many makes and models with trained Service and Tire technicians.
- Completing all work orders correctly and accurately
- Maintaining accurate and organized notes and paperwork on all jobs
- Practicing safe work principles
- Shop housekeeping, i.e. keep work area clean, safe and organized, pick up/drop off parts and tires.
- Maintain positive customer relationships
- Be a shuttle driver for customers with a shop-provided vehicle.
- Basic vehicle inspections using provided inspection sheet
- Basic preventative maintenance and other vehicle services

**Requirements**:

- Familiar with multiple makes and models of vehicles
- Dependable, honest and organized
- Ability to receive instruction and to follow procedures
- Some or limited training in automotive repair, and committed to keeping up-to-date on automotive knowledge
- Some experience in vehicle maintenance, including the use of tools
- A high level of motivation, energy and a customer-focused attitude
- Effective and above average communication, both oral and written
- Equipped with above average computer skills
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment
- Valid driver's license
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
