**Description**:
The incumbent will be responsible for booking, quoting, and supporting key clients and processing requests for products and services as well as treatment of some complaints. This position will require a highly-skilled tour planning coordinator.

**Responsibilities**
- Process new reservations, cancellations, and amendments to existing reservations
- Source new products to meet client demands
- Provide itinerary planning support and quotations to clients
- Build relationships with key clients developing a complete understanding of their needs
- Maintain efficiency and serving standards
- Maintain a high level of product and geographical knowledge
- Maintain a database of special service product information & develop supplier relationships
- Proof reservations to ensure the accuracy and smooth running of booked itineraries
- Respond to complaints post-travel
- Assist in the completion of any projects, as assigned

**Position Requirements**:

- Must be able to communicate effectively orally & written in English
- other languages are an asset
- Post-Secondary School Education
- Minimum 2 years of Tourism/Travel/Hotel experience - (tour operator, hotel coordinator/concierge
- preferred)
- Experience in itinerary planning, tour costing, and tourism supplier contract management
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail and autonomy
- Strong knowledge of geography and Canadian tourism products is an asset
- Dedicated to a high level of customer service
- Able to plan, organize and set priorities & maintain processes

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
