This position of /Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the quality of cleaning Hotel rooms are assigned to.
This position is based in a fast-paced environment, and will require the person in the role to work under pressure, tight deadlines, complete repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and strong attention to detail. It is a combination of standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
**Job Requirements**:

- Keeping the rooms and the facilities up to EPLS Hotel standards, paying close attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of standard is provided
- Regular cleaning of the suites, conference rooms offices and other buildings owned by Eskimo Point Lumber Supply, including but not limited to vacuuming, laundry, dusting, trash collection and disinfecting fixtures and surfaces
- Coordinate and assist in the cleaning of the bunk house during periods when vacant
- Coordinate and facilitate the cleaning of staff housing and/or apartments when employees move out of their assigned housing
- Identifying concerns with equipment or appliances and notifying the Manager as required
- Provide transportation for workers and shuttle service to and from the airport for guests as needed
- Assist in the organization and preparation of catering services as required
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues and guests to provide excellent customer service
- Respond to guest and staff inquiries, requests and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner
- Complete all tasks safely and efficiently
- Provide support to the site Manager by assisting in inspections and making recommendations as needed
- Ensure that all equipment and cleaning tools are maintained and are stored as per safety regulations
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the Manager when items need to be reordered
- Other duties as assigned

- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good English verbal and written communication skills with ability to read and comprehend instructions/information
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Good problem solving ability
- Able to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Must have a strong work ethic, be reliable with a positive team attitude

- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Pass the required background and vulnerable sector clearance checks
- Cleaning or housekeeping experience would be considered an asset
- Working Hours: Hours would generally fall during regular business hours, however they will be dependant on check-in/check-out times and employee relocations. May be required to work on holidays and weekends.
