Industrial Sandblasters and Hand Coating Applicators

Fort Saskatchewan, Canada Dalco By Brand Safway Full time

We are currently looking for an experienced sandblasters and coating hand applicators to work in a leadership role in Fort Saskatchewan. This project offers 50 hours a week on a modified work schedule. The project will last 4 to 5 weeks total.

**DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES**:

- Assist supervisors in field operations as required
- Supervise blasting and coating tasks completed by crew
- Work in a safe and conscientious manner

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience with sandblasting and bristle blasting preferred
- Supervision experience required
- Brush and roll to specified thickness
- Experience with HV and LV holiday testing
- Willingness to learn is an asset
- Ability to follow complex instruction
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional housekeeping
- Valid safety tickets required (CSTS 2020, AWP and Fall Protection required)
- Driver’s license recommended
- Applicants must live in the Edmonton region or surrounding area and have reliable transportation to and from Fort Saskatchewan for work

Pay: $32.63-$43.50 per hour

- Industrial Hand Coating Application: 1 year (preferred)
- Sandblasting: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License (preferred)
