**KWE IS CURRENTLY HIRING FOR A SURFACE LOGISTICS COORDINATOR IN MILTON**

KWE is currently looking for a Surface Logistics Coordinator who is focused on delivering a world class logistics experience to our valued customers. **Daily Transportation Requirements**: Source carriers to meet customer demand at rates that meet or exceed financial targets. Exceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations; proactive analysis to prevent service failures.

**Customer Relationships**: Consistent and professional communications; effective, prompt and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations, relaying service failures, problem solving etc.

**Assist in Carrier Relationship Management**: Productive carrier relationship development, AP discrepancy resolution, cover loads, handling and management of difficult situations, etc.

**DETAILS OF THE JOB**
- Execute outbound and inbound transportation in a multi-modal environment.
- Carrier selection, on-boarding, and cost negotiations.
- Order entry including costing and revenue allocation.
- Develop and coordinate customized logistics solutions to address customer requirements.
- Establish and maintain productive customer and carrier relationships.
- Providing rate quotes and participating in pricing proposals for clients.
- Load planning and route/mode optimization.
- Inside sales/exploration of penetration opportunities with existing clients.
- Participation in joint sales calls as required.
- Customer service including tracking and tracing, and escalation of issues as required.
- Enforcing carrier compliance to align with service guidelines.
- Document reconciliation (BOL, POD).
- Provide timely communication and customer service functions in a multi-customer environment.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- _
Ability to work in office/ onsite_
- 2+ years of experience in a 3PL/freight brokerage environment.
- Knowledge of LTL and TL operations.
- Experience dealing with BC ports, customs bonds, and drayage would be considered assets.
- Experience with Transportation Management software (TMS’, PC Miler, Load Link).
- Post-secondary education in Logistics/Supply Chain, or industry accreditation preferred (ie
- CCLP, P.Log).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Ability to leverage Excel and other MS programs).
- Geographical Expertise (Geographical understanding of the continental US and Canada).
- Excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions.
- Industry Expertise (Transportation industry knowledge, including key terminology; and, general knowledge of primary customer industries).
