**Full Function Rehab & Wellness** is expanding their services and is looking to hire a Speech Language Pathologist to create and oversee the brand new Speech Language Pathology division.

**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Create, develop, execute and maintain the new Speech Language Pathology program/division
- Consultation, screening, and evidence based assessment and treatment of communication disorders
- Works in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to inform integrated care plans (predominantly in adults who have been in motor vehicle accidents)
- Design treatment plans using goals, evidence-based information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise
- Uses appropriate standardized tests and outcome measures in clinical practice
- Uses non-standard assessment tools/forms when appropriate
- Makes appropriate referrals to other services, etc. when appropriate
- Incorporates goal setting in discussion with family/patient
- Adapts approach to changing needs of patients and families
- Keeps family/patient informed of progress and of any changes in plan
- Adheres to clinic and professional charting guidelines
- Demonstrates familiarity with current literature, issues and trends of practice
- Utilizes the teaching/learning process to provide education, both formal and informal, to patients/families, colleagues, and other professionals within the organization
- Other duties as assigned
- Help market the program
- Provide in person and virtual treatment sessions
**Qualifications**
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current registration and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Minimum 1 years working experience
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Vehicle for travel and a valid driver’s license and auto-insurance required
- Previous pediatric clinical related experience preferred
- Be committed to providing excellent, empathic care in line with our values
- Possess a courteous, positive and professional attitude
- Possess an appropriate kid-friendly attitude when interacting with children
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills with ability to engage others
- Possess strong time management skills and ability to organize daily activities and priorities
- Be motivated and hard working to create the program from scratch and help develop their patient base.
- Have the ability to work independently, self-directed
**Pay Structure**:
Commission Split (60% based on experience). Sliding scale on billings can be discussed.
