We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and contribute to an unforgettable experience for our visitors.** Opened in 2004 and one of the first Nordic spas in Quebec, **Spa Nordic Station** is set in a picturesque location, among trees and along the Castle Brook River in Magog. The site has been designed with privacy and tranquility in mind, in a charming, unique antique setting. **YOUR MISSION** Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor, you are responsible for the proper functioning and safety of the facilities. From opening the pools to maintaining machinery, monitoring water quality, and snow removal, you ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. More specifically: - Open the facilities (cleaning, starting the saunas, spas, steam baths, fireplaces, etc.) and ensure everything is functional; - Perform maintenance and necessary repairs on spa machines and installations as needed; - Ensure snow removal and salt spreading throughout the site during winter; - Monitor the water quality of all spa pools by performing water tests and adding the appropriate chemicals; - Ensure the tranquility of the site, adherence to spa rules and regulations (silence, robes and towels on chairs, etc.); - Maintain an impeccable level of cleanliness throughout the site by proactively performing cleaning tasks when necessary; - Welcome feedback, suggestions, and complaints, and forward them to management; - Collaborate with colleagues from other departments to provide mutual support and ensure smooth client experiences; - Manage the site during the Maintenance Supervisor's vacations or absences, including performing manual work as needed. **YOUR SKILLS** - **Experience in general building maintenance or spa maintenance** (a vocational diploma in building maintenance is an asset); - "CPO" (Certified Pool Operator) certification is an asset; - Knowledge in pools, water basins, or spas is an asset; - **Excellent physical condition**: you will be working outdoors year-round; - **Autonomy, resourcefulness, and a sense of responsibility;**: - **Rigorous, punctual, and detail-oriented;**: - Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems; - Basic knowledge of English (spoken). **YOUR HOURS** - Full-time position (40 hours/week); - Schedule from Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. **Why join SPA NORDIC STATION?** - Free access to our 4 spas for you and one guest, starting on Day 1; - Generous discounts on all our treatments; - Group insurance and Corporate RRSP*; - An exceptional working environment, surrounded by nature; - A warm team and strong teamwork spirit; - Casual dress code; - And much more - Only full-time positions are eligible for group insurance and RRSP.
