Part time Floral Sales Position

General Qualifications:

- Able to lift and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Able to work well under pressure during peak seasons

Duties include:

- Serving in store customers and processing payments
- Receiving shipments, and then processing flowers.
- Providing occasion-specific flower suggestions.
- Packaging customers flowers to prevent breakages.
- Instructing customers on suitable transporting and care of flowers/plants.
- Coordinating flower deliveries
- Design and setup for events and weddings
- General housekeeping, packing, loading & unloading of vehicles, and décor assembly
- Receiving florals & plant orders from wholesalers and suppliers

$15 - $20 depending on experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Red Deer, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
