**Position**: Respite Support Worker (Weekends Only)
**Location**: Greater Edmonton Area
**Schedule**: Flexible shifts - Friday (12:00 PM - 9:00 PM), Saturday & Sunday (10:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
**Shifts**: Typically 3 hours long

**What You'll Do**:

- Assist children with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Develop and implement personalized plans to support each child's growth and community involvement.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment, proactively addressing potential risks.
- Engage children in creative and structured activities that promote learning and fun.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Experience**: Background in working with children, especially those with autism, ADHD, or other developmental delays.
- **Skills**: Patience, creativity, and effective problem-solving abilities.
- **Certifications**: First Aid and CPR Level C (current), Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification (preferred).
- **Licenses**: Valid Class 5 driver's license, reliable vehicle with $2 million third-party liability insurance.
- **Clearances**: Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention Check.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
