**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and supervision to a team of earthworks personnel, ensuring their safety, productivity, and adherence to project timelines.
- Coordinate and schedule earthworks activities, including excavation, grading, compaction, and site preparation, while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to interpret plans and ensure accurate execution of earthworks activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with industry regulations.
- Manage and maintain equipment, tools, and resources required for earthworks operations, including inventory control and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor project progress, track productivity, and provide regular reports to the project management team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience working on commercial earthworks projects, particularly in the Edmonton area.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and supervising earthworks teams.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks processes, including excavation, grading, compaction, and site preparation.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality control standards.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as required.
- Relevant certifications and training in earthworks and construction management are considered assets.
