**PROJECT LOCATION**:Lac La Biche, AB**

**PROJECT SCOPE**:
**We are seeking a Foreman for an exciting project in Lac La Biche, AB, from early July to October this year. This project involves clearing and grubbing the site, constructing and maintaining access roads, stripping topsoil and performing rough grading, installing liners and discharge pipes for stormwater ponds, preparing and maintaining foundations for large storage tanks, and finalizing the grading of roads and process areas for a clean and safe site. Additionally, there will be opportunities to cross-train at other projects throughout Western Canada, providing a chance to expand your skills and experience with our innovative and forward-thinking team.**

**BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH US**
- The Foreman is responsible to plan, organize and coordinate projects from start to finish. The foreman is responsible for budget, personnel, quality and customer service aspects. The foreman directs and manages all on-site workers, subcontractors and equipment, enforcing the company’s direction, policies, procedures and safety standards, while meeting construction deadlines.**HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)**
- Examine, inspect and organize work practices, and equipment.
- Monitor and report on work progress.
- Ensure qualified manpower is available for the project.
- Ensure the work is always in good process.
- Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety practices and procedures and company policies.
- Able to read blueprints and specifications to determine construction requirements and participate in making a site plan for the work to be completed.
- Supervise and direct workers to carry out and execute jobs that are assigned.
- Ensures all equipment and facilities needed by workers to enable them to work effectively are made available and are in good condition.
- Focus on the goal of achieving success on that tasks at hand, the foreman creates a good working atmosphere and conditions for workers.
- Possesses the ability and skills to delegate responsibilities to workers based on their expertise and specialization.
- Communicate with the Superintendent to problem solve and coordinate work activities.
- Ensure an accurate daily log is maintained so a record of production is available for Paradox and client reference.
- Other duties may be assigned as required.

**DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)**
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean drivers Abstract
- Related supervisory experience and 3-5 years of related experience in Earthworks/civil industry Equipment training (Excavator, Loader, Grader, etc)
- Valid safety certifications in H2S, CSTS, First Aid, and OSSA are required. Global ground disturbance 2 and flagger training are considered an asset
- Leadership/Management training is considered an asset
- Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to pass pre-access drug & alcohol, and 35LB fit-to-work testing
