**About the Role**

**Responsibilities**
- **General Operations**: Assist in the daily operations of the business, ensuring all processes & systems run smoothly and efficiently. Support the rollout of new systems used across the company to drive collaboration and productivity. Identify areas for optimization and collaboration across the team.
- **People and Culture**: Support People & Culture team with new hire onboarding support, staff programs and initiatives, team socials, etc.
- **Bookkeeping**: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.
- **Office Setup**: Support the initial set up of the greenhouse office and staff area. Ongoing responsibilities include ensuring staff area is continuously organized and supplied to ensure a productive working environment.
- **Events**: Assist with planning and execution of events hosted at the farm to drive sales (e.g. sales and media events).
- **Special Projects**: Provide support for special projects as needed, contributing to the overall success of the greenhouse operations.

**Qualifications**

**Must-Have**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations, administration, or a similar role
- Proficiency in basic bookkeeping and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Proficiency in Office Suite & GSuite
- Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive problem-solving skills

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Experience working with Notion, Slack, or other productivity tools
- Experience with HR functions, including hiring and onboarding
- Experience in office setup and infrastructure management
