Marketing Coordinator

Atlantic Packaging is seeking a Marketing Coordinator located in Scarborough.
This role will report to the Marketing Manager and or a designated individual and will also work closely with cross functional teams which includes sales, customer service and other if applicable.
**This role is onsite**
**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Execute a results-driven social media strategy.
- Create a social media presence across all platforms and maintain a persona that's representative of the brand’s image and values
- Learn what platforms packaging target audience uses and when they use them, and post accordingly
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Engage with the social media audience, answer questions, and respond to comments to increase followers
- Collect brand positioning stories across Atlantic group and come up with an engaging content for internal and external stakeholders in the form of blogs, articles, case studies etc.
- Work well in collaboration with cross functional team especially sales
- Conduct research to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape, and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists
- Maintain a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed
- Manage contractors and other marketing vendors.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Past work experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
- Excellent social listening skills
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
