**Shipping & Receiving Clerk**

**Location**: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

**What You'll Do**:
As our Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:

- **Process Shipments & Receipts**: Accurately and promptly create and enter customer receipts and shipments, ensuring all products are accounted for within the ERP system
- **Inventory Management**: Perform shipping and receiving operations for various parts and products in an industrial setting. This includes verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments, reconciling variances, and managing consumable inventory within the ERP system.
- **Quality Control**: Unpack, pack, and visually examine incoming and outgoing shipments, taking pictures and recording any discrepancies or anomalies. Ensure products meet both customer and company (WHC) requirements.
- **Logistics & Communication**: Effectively communicate with trucking companies, carriers, and customer contacts to ensure complete satisfaction and timely processing of all receipts and shipments (within 24 hours).
- **Material Handling**: Safely operate forklifts, cranes, carts, and dollies to load, unload, retrieve, and store parts and products.
- **Internal Coordination**: Deliver and transfer parts and products between departments as needed, and interface with other departments to ensure production schedules are met.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Consistently demonstrate accurate order-picking, packing, and storing of all parts and products.
- **Customer Service**: Provide excellent customer service to customers, vendors, and drivers.
- **Process Improvement**: Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including creating and revising procedures, and support initiatives related to WHC systems, such as reporting, training, and new implementations.
- **Safety & Compliance**: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by strictly following WHC policies and procedures and complying with all legal regulations.
- **Other duties as required.**

**What You'll Bring**:

- **Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving, ideally in an industrial setting.
- **Education**: A High School Diploma or GED.
- **Availability**: You're ready to work overtime when needed.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- **Attitude**: A positive, helpful, and can-do attitude

- **Certifications**: Forklift certification.
- **Tech Savvy**: Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

**Compensation & Benefits**
- **Hourly Rate**: Between **$24.00 to $26.00 CAD per hour**. Hourly rates are determined by role, level, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

**Work Details**
- **Shift**: Must be willing to work day shift, evening shift, overtime, and possible weekends.
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed.
- **Expected Hours**: 40 per week.
- **Location**: 9625 58 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 2W3. Remote work is not required.
- **Flexible Language Requirement**: French not required.
