Brackett Auto Group is an Ontario Automotive Dealer Group with 5 dealerships (MacMaster Buick GMC, Orangeville Chrysler, Orangeville Volkswagen, Edmonds GM, and Bray Motors) and body shop (Fix Auto Orangeville). Our team has grown to over 225 professional individuals and it is time to look for an experienced **Human Resources Manager** to help us continue to grow.
As a Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the HR function within our Dealer Group, as well as the development of HR strategy, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labour laws and regulations.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
- Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting open communication and resolving employee concerns
- Handle disciplinary issues and grievances in a fair and consistent manner
- Provide guidance on employee performance and development
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes
- Work with managers to set performance goals and provide coaching and feedback
- Identify opportunities for employee growth and development
- Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies
- Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and reporting requirements
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labour laws
- Keep abreast of changes in labour laws and regulations and ensure the organization's compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and metrics for management
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives
- Collaborate with senior management to align HR goals with organizational objectives
- Any other duties as assigned by Management
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with HR certification and HR management experience
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations
- Solid verbal and written communication with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- **Must have the ability to maintain the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality**
