**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
POSITION OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Project Manager, this individual will be responsible for providing direct administrative support to the Project Manager, and to other departments within the Company as required. Working under direct supervision, the Project Administrator aids in the acquisition and execution of phase(s) of project delivery defined in the essential duties section. This position must follow specific and defined procedures and instructions (verbal and written) and requires supervisor. Experience in Construction, specifically electrical is preferred but not required. This individual will be responsible for providing overall administrative and construction support for the department. This individual will be responsible for providing documentation and administrative support for projects. This individual is in contact with stakeholders at various levels. This position requires a strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review current Operational forms and procedures
- Research and make recommendations for changes on forms and procedures based on best industry practices
- Update forms and distribute to appropriate individuals.Schedule meetings
- Take meeting minutes of operational meetings, clean up minutes and send to Manager for review prior to sending to all attendees.
- Scanning, renaming and filling documentation relating to your position
- Research and make recommendations for changes based on best industry practices
- Set up of purchase orders for Subcontractors, Suppliers and Manufacturers.
- Prepare and print monthly cost reports for the Project Managers
- Preparation and monthly update of the work in progress (WIP) forecast sheets. Copy, print and distribution of drawings
- Count items as required by Project Manager Department Accountant (no experience is required)
- Assist with QAQC process
- Support the Prefab department in any administrative project functions
- Participate in our company operational meetings such as Project Delivery meetings, staff meetings, Project Status review meetings
- Participate in training seminars and courses on an ongoing basis. The cost of these courses will either be covered or will be reimbursed

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**:

- Previous experience working in the electrical construction industry would be an asset.
- Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office including: Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel.
- Software experience: Microsoft; excel and word.
- An ability to read, understand, interpret drawings is preferred but not required.
- Effective communicator with the ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels
- Sense of urgency and drive to succeed. Must be comfortable working within a deadline driven fast paced environment
- Resourceful, energetic and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong team player

**TRAVEL**:

- 20% of travel may be required for this position.
- Travel may reach up to 80% between office and site

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- On-site 80%, in-office 20%
- On site conditions: Walking or on your feet for long periods of time, high levels of noise, weather and temperature can vary depending on season, mainly outdoors.
