**Quality Assurance Analyst - Contract**

Location: Montreal, Quebec

**This position is a maternity leave replacement contract.**

Responsibilities:_**
- Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses
- Quality Assurance support/liaison with the various areas such as operations, repair center etc.
- Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards
- Reviews, analyze and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
- Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
- Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, repair center and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met
- Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.

Qualifications:_**
- Must have a 2-4 years Quality Assurance Environment experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of technical engine maintenance experience
- Experience working in aerospace, MRO environment will be an asset.
- Quality Assurance training or equivalent required.
- Abilities to support shop floor employees and other support group (customer support/ Engineering) with QA and regulatory related issues.
- Abilities to support foreign regulatory audits requirements.
- Knowledge of performing investigation in a Quality Assurance environment.

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.
