**The Accounting and Finance Manager** is responsible for providing leadership in the area of financial support. The Accounting and Finance Manager will supervise the accounting department team and is a key member of the leadership of the company. Experience with Brokerwolf and PropertyWare is preferred but not required. Experience in property accounting is preferred but not required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Financial Performance**
- KPI tracking, and Monthly Operating Report analysis and preparation;
- Analyze monthly statement in terms of key issues in sales, costs, productivity, and margins;
- Prepare a management reports
- Cost, revenue and KPI reporting and review with the Managing Broker;
- Payroll, AP, AR;
- Assist operations in making financial decisions that maximize performance;
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place;
- Coach/develop/mentor junior team members and administration staff; and
- Ensure compliance with legislation governing the business
- Real estate conveyancing

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Education and Experience
- Recognized accounting designation, college degree in business management, accounting or a combination of education and work experience preferred; and
- Minimum of 5 years accounting experience preferred

**Skills, Knowledge and Required Competencies**
- Improvement oriented and focused on identifying business operating efficiencies;
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills;
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and prioritize tasks; and
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including building relationships with operational employees.
