Production Team Lead will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and responsible for processing and packaging of Cannibas products.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBLIITES**

**People**:

- Collaborate with QA, maintenance and other departments to ensure support is obtained
- Engage and motivate team members to ensure they are clear on expectations and outcomes requires
- Lead by example and foster relationships within team
- Manage daily team assignment and performance
- Assist in training new production staff
- Manage shift meetings and team huddles
- Provide team update on Safety, Quality and Output

**Process**:

- Ensure Sop’s, company policies and GMP’s are followed at all times
- Provide input to update SOP’s and documents used in production
- All cannabis products must be processed and packaged within Health Canada regulations and company procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement ideas and help drive down costs
- Input data in ERP system and ensure accuracy of data
- Manage batch documents and ensure compliance on good documentation
- Participate in team meetings
- Manage projects when needed
- Obtain and maintain security clearances from Health Canada
- Setup, operate, clean, and troubleshoot equipment used on processing and packaging
- Clean equipment and rooms in accordance to SOP’s
- Ability to work flexible shifts should there be a need
- Other duties as required

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift upto 20 kgs
- Ability to stand throughout shift daily
- High school diploma
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in a production GMP environments
- Prior experiences in Cannabis, food and or pharmaceuticals would be an asset
- Excellent communication, time management and flexibility

**Please note Galaxie is located in Puslinch, a rural area outside of Hamilton.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
