**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd. (“Triton”) is seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic** Project Manager **to join a well-established team of environmental professionals in our Guelph office.
- Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks
- Liaising and negotiating with other partners, clients, regulators, contractors, and sub-contractors
- Establishing and developing client relationships that facilitate successful delivery of projects and the maintenance of future and ongoing opportunities
- Liaise with public and private sector clients, government review and approval agencies, sub-consultants and community representatives
- Supporting corporate business development initiatives
- Prepare and support the preparation of project proposals and contribute to client relationships and business development activities
- Writing high-quality reports, cost estimates, and proposals
- Creating project status reports and maintaining project documentation
- Leading technical teams to ensure the quality, cost, and timeliness of deliverables
- Contributing specialist expertise to multi-disciplinary projects
- Input to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoring Providing excellent service to existing clients and maintaining those relationships
- Ensuring client’s and Triton’s safety standards are maintained or exceeded
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the office, region, and between other areas of the organization

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree or diploma in a related field (environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology)
- Knowledge of and experience with environmental standards, and regulations or guidelines and federal and provincial regulations
- Demonstrated increasing experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control) and with the leadership and supervision of project teams
- Understanding of the regional market and business development opportunities
- Effective writing skills, and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals
- Superbly organized and self-managed, with a collaborative working style
- Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with the ability to think outside the box
- Previous experience in the environmental consulting industry is an asset
- Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with professional governing body recognized in ON is an asset
