Toronto, Canada HTS Engineering - Heat Transfer Solutions Full time

**Responsibilities**:
Financial reporting
- Financial statements - quarterly and annual preparation/presentation for multiple business entities
- Provide business intelligence, insight, and reporting to senior managers via Microsoft Power BI.

Investor Relations
- The Investor Relations (IR) function delivers effective communication of HTS strategic direction, financial performance, and growth story to the investment community, including sell-side analysts, buy-side investors. A key part of the HTS Engineering’s Finance team, IR works closely with internal partners, including Executive Management and various business units to deliver transparent and well-articulated messaging related to HTS Engineering’s financial and strategic position.

Cash Management and tax filing support
- Provide banking support such as daily cash reporting, cash management and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Provide support for US and Canadian sales taxes, corporate taxes, and audits

Reconcile intercompany balances between business companies across North America.
- Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks and reconciliation of various bank account transactions
- Perform verification of input documentation from multiple sources Identify and investigate unreconciled transactions and provide solutions
- Communicate observations on internal and external errors and provide practical solutions

Ad hoc assignments and duties as required

**Skills**:

- University Degree specializing in accounting, finance, economics, or business
- An CPA, CFA or MBA designation or working towards a designation.
- Advanced Excel (Pivot tables), prior experience with BI software (Oracle BI Publisher, SAP BI, Power BI, Cognos Powerplay)
- Writing Queries (SQL)
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and to interact at all organizational levels
- Good analytical skills
- 5 years of progressive experience in a financial role
