**Major Duties and Responsibilities**:
- General_
- Collaborate effectively with team members across departments
- Consistently arrive to work, appointments, and meetings on time
- Contribute to results by identifying inefficiencies and recommending changes
- Protect Company by keeping all business-related information confidential
- Comply with policies and standards, as amended from time to time
- Role-specific_
- Receive and process physical accounting receipts, invoices, and statements
- Handle and organize physical and digital documents
- Carry out bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Organize, maintain, and update corporate records and files
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Carry out payroll remittances and process HST returns
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
- Assist Controller and Accounting Team with related tasks, as required
- Perform other administrative duties, as assigned
**Qualifications**
- At least one (1) year of experience bookkeeping or accounting environment, working with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- T1 and T2 tax preparation experience an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Google Drive
- Ability to connect with people from varying backgrounds and degrees of experience
- Ability to switch tasks, respond to shifting priorities, and refocus after interruptions
- Willingness to work outside of regular business hours, as needed
- Highly organized and motivated
- Driven to succeed

How to apply:
