Business Competitions Coach

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach and coach high school students in preparation for a variety of North American business competitions, including case analysis, entrepreneurship challenges, and investment simulations.
- Develop customized instructional plans that cover core business concepts such as marketing, finance, business strategy, data analysis, and presentation techniques.
- Facilitate interactive workshops, team-based projects, and mock competitions to build students’ critical thinking, public speaking, and teamwork skills.
- Continuously assess student performance and provide personalized, constructive feedback to support growth and improvement.
- Work closely with education consultants to align teaching with individual student goals and ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Maintain a dynamic and supportive classroom environment—whether in-person or online—that fosters engagement, creativity, and confidence.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an asset.
- Strong understanding of business competition formats such as case studies, pitch presentations, and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Proficient with online teaching tools and able to deliver hybrid instruction effectively.
- Passionate about mentoring students and helping them reach high academic and extracurricular achievement.

**BLUBC-Specific Requirements**:

- Ability to create personalized course plans based on student goals and competition timelines.
- Provide timely homework assignments and feedback after each session.
- Conduct regular evaluations and offer detailed progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with consultants to ensure consistency in instruction and academic planning.
- Adhere to institutional policies and teaching standards.
