_Nella Food Equipment is looking for a Project Estimator to join their growing team The Project Estimator is an entry-level position performing tasks for_ various projects. It will be based out of our North York location, assisting and reporting to the Project Manager

**DESCRIPTION**:

- Understand the Tender and its requirements
- Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
- Gather first-hand information from site visits
- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
- Obtain and review offers and quotes from Suppliers
- Compare and match products from different suppliers for cost efficient options.
- Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons (project managers, clients, bidding competitions etc.)
- Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, etc.)
- Prepare project documentation for all projects
- Create project packets
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors and customers
- Develop spreadsheets
- Perform other duties as assigned

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High school diploma or equivalent of training, education and experience
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and database software
- Professional demeanour at all times
- Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Organized, detail and results-oriented
- **Experience within the Hospitality/Restaurant Industry is favoured**

**PREFERRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES**
- Bachelors or Associates degree or the equivalent of training, education and experience
- 1-3 years of Previous Project Management or billing experience

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
